The Livingstone Range, relatively unknown among scramblers and hikers, is an arrow-straight mountain ridge that starts south of Kananaskis and ends in the Crowsnest area of southern Alberta. Due to its location at the eastern edge of the Front Ranges, the area typically enjoys milder winter temperatures than most other regions of the Rockies. It is also one of the least frequented, but there are many easy to moderate peaks to be discovered. Chances are you’ll have them all to yourself!
